'Shalfest' - Shalbourne, 4th & 5th July 2008

Dear Sir / Madam,

Acting as a co-organiser of the Shalbourne Music Festival aka 'Shalfest' I can confirm that Boy Kill Boy and Idlewild will headline the two day event (July 4th & 5th).

Winners of "World Best Tribute Act" award Killer Queen will also appear on the Saturday. Commercial radio will broadcast live from the site throughout the event and other music will include the winners of a 3 month X-Factor style "Battle of The Bands" competition run in Liberia, West Africa via the event's major corporate sponsors.

As in previous years there will be provision for camping, in addition to an extensive selection of real ales, fairground rides and shuttle buses to and from the site. Tickets are available from the website www.Shalfest.co.uk will go on sale on 1st April. With demand expected to exceed all previous events, advanced ticket purchasing is recommended and will be available at a special rate.

Advanced weekend ticket prices will be around £25 to include camping. Day tickets are also available.

Directions
Due to the growth of the event, it has moved to a larger site just outside the village. Shalbourne village is 4 miles south of Hungerford, just off the A338 (SN8 3QF). The festival site is at the top Rivar Hill on the ridge above the village, alongside the unclassified local road to Fosbury (SN8 3NJ).

Do get in touch if you have any questions.

Many thanks,

Adam Sargent
